It is possible for sensors to produce erroneous warnings. Carefully
evaluate other engine parameters and smoothness of operation
before taking action.
If oil pressure is low, the engine has probably lost a significant
amount of its oil and engine failure may be imminent.
If oil pressure is suddenly high, a blockage or obstruction may have devel-
oped in the oil circulation system and engine failure may be imminent.
