ATM VP Average Traffic Rate

Description:
This feature was introduced on the PRE2, PRE3, and PRE4 to enable you to display the
5-minute traffic rates on virtual path (VP) counters. This feature is a subscriber and VP traffic reporting
feature that extends the
show atm vp
command to provide rate information. Minute counters on the
ATM VPs support the
show atm vp
command.

priority
command was introduced on the PRE1 to give priority to a traffic class in a
policy map and to set the bandwidth rate for the queue in kilobits per second.

This command was enhanced on the PRE1 to include a percent-based bandwidth rate.

This command was modified on the PRE1 to provide strict priority queuing. Strict priority
queuing guarantees low-latency for any packet that enters a priority queue, regardless of the current
congestion level on the link. To specify a bandwidth rate for a strict priority queue, you must specify the
