To enable Ethernet Local Managment Interface (E-LMI) operation on an interface and enter interface Ethernet
LMI configuration mode, use the
ethernet lmi
command in interface configuration mode. To disable Ethernet
LMI and return to the default, use the
no
form of the command.

no ethernet lmi

Usage Guidelines
To use this command, you must be in a user group associated with a task group that includes appropriate task
IDs. If the user group assignment is preventing you from using a command, contact your AAA administrator
for assistance.
Ethernet LMI is supported only on physical Ethernet interfaces.
