To enable logging of Ethernet Fault Detection (EFD) state changes to an interface (such as when an interface
is shut down or brought up via EFD), use the
log efd
command in CFM domain service configuration mode.
To disable EFD logging, use the no form of this command.
log efd
no log efd

This command has no keywords or arguments.

Usage Guidelines
To use this command, you must be in a user group associated with a task group that includes appropriate task
IDs. If the user group assignment is preventing you from using a command, contact your AAA administrator
for assistance.
When EFD logging is enabled, a syslog is generated whenever the EFD state of an interface changes.
