To configure what action is taken on an interface when a wiring-conflict event occurs, use the
action
wiring-conflict
command in Ethernet OAM configuration mode or interface Ethernet OAM configuration
mode. To return to the default, use the
no
form of this command.

Syntax Description
Performs no action on the interface when a capabilities-conflict event occurs.
disable
Puts the line protocol into the down state for an interface when a capabilities-conflict
event occurs. The state is removed when the first packet is received without a
conflict.
efd
Puts the interface into the error-disable state when a capabilities-conflict event
occurs.
error-disable-interface
(Interface Ethernet OAM configuration only) Creates a syslog entry when a
capabilities-conflict event occurs. This action is available only in interface Ethernet
OAM configuration mode to override the OAM profile on a specific interface.
log

The default action is to put the interface into error-disable state.
