Appendix A Using the ROM Monitor
show_spd
show_spd
To display the contents of the processor’s Serial Presence Detect (SPD) device (an electrically erasable
programmable read-only memory (EEPROM) device), use the
show_spd
command in ROM monitor
mode.
show_spd
Syntax Description
This command has no arguments or keywords.
Defaults
No default behavior or values.

The
show_spd
command displays the contents of the processor card’s SPD/EEPROM memory device.
This information is typically useful only to Cisco TAC engineers.
Note
The
show_spd
command displays a large volume of data. Enable the capture buffer on your terminal
program so that you can preserve this data and review it later.
Examples
The following example shows how to display the SPD data (only a portion of the command’s display is
shown):
