cable telco-return spd username
To set the username that the telco-return CM uses for authentication when establishing a PPP connection
with the access server, use the
cable telco-return spd username
command in cable interface
configuration mode. To restore the default value, use the
no
form of this command.

Usage Guidelines
This command sets the Login Username parameter for the specified SPD in the Telephony Channel
Descriptor (TCD) messages.
Note
This command is available only in images that support telco-return. These images have a “t” as part of
the image name.
Examples
The following example shows the username being set to “sandy” for SPD 3:
router(config-if)# c
able telco-return spd 3 username sandy
