Cisco ICS 7750 System Description

Analog Station Interface Cards

Analog station interface (ASI) cards enable you to connect to analog telephones, 
fax machines, and teleconferencing stations. Two ASI cards are available:

ASI81—Contains an 8-port Foreign Exchange Station (FXS) module and any 
one of the VIC, WIC, or VWIC modules shown in 

Table 2-6

 that support 

digital and analog voice trunks and WAN routing interfaces, completely 
integrating voice and data networking.

MRP3-8FXS—Contains an 8-port FXS module and onboard Flash memory.

ASI160—Contains a 16-port FXS module.

MRP3-16FXS—Contains a 16-port FXS module and onboard Flash memory.

ASI cards can reside in any of the interchangeable slots (slot 1 through slot 6).
