Removing the Power Enclosure
This section describes how to remove a power enclosure from the Cisco NCS 6000 FCC. In most cases, it is
not necessary to remove the power enclosure although it is field-replaceable (Cisco PID NCS-F-PWR-SHELF=).
When removing the power enclosure, you must fist remove the power modules and the power trays. See
the
Replacing an AC or DC Power Tray, on page 99
section and the
Module , on page 102
section.

6-inch, Number-2 Phillips screwdriver
The power enclosure weighs approximately 30 lb (13.7 kg) and sits on top of the FCC. To prevent injury,
we recommend that you use a ladder and two people when removing the power enclosure.
