Configuring AAA Accounting Methods for 802.1X
You can enable AAA accounting methods for the 802.1X feature.
Before you begin
Enable the 802.1X feature on the Cisco NX-OS device.

DETAILED STEPS
Purpose
Command or Action
Enters global configuration mode.
configure terminal
Step 1
Configures AAA accounting for 802.1X. The default is
disabled.
aaa accounting dot1x default group group-list
Step 2
The
group-list
argument consists of a space-delimited list
of group names. The group names are the following:
•
radius
—For all configured RADIUS servers.
•
named-group
—Any configured RADIUS server group
name.
Exits configuration mode.
exit
Step 3
Displays the AAA accounting configuration.
(Optional)
show aaa accounting
Step 4
Copies the running configuration to the startup
configuration.
(Optional)
copy running-config startup-config
Step 5

This example shows how to enable the 802.1x feature:
