CoS to DSCP Remarking
Use the
QoS > CoS Settings > CoS to DSCP
page to map CoS priorities to
Differentiated Services Code Point (DSCP) values. Differentiated Services or
DiffServ is a computer networking architecture that specifies a simple, scalable
and coarse-grained mechanism for classifying and managing network traffic and
providing QoS guarantees.
To open this page:
In the navigation tree, choose
QoS
>
CoS Settings
>
COS to
DSCP
.
STEP 1
To enable
CoS to DSCP
settings, check the
Enable
box. Otherwise, uncheck the
box. The
802.1p Priority
section is available only when CoS to DSCP is enabled.
STEP 2
For each 802.1p Priority, enter a DSCP value. (Valid values are from 0 to 63).
STEP 3
Click
Save
to save your settings, or click
Cancel
to reload the page with the
current settings. To reload the default settings, click
Restore Default
.
