Adjustments and operations
NOTE
At this moment, it is possible to
use the adjustment resources
of the tractor drawbar, either to
shorten it or to lengthen it.
Adjusting the cardan shaft length
With telescopic cardan and CV joint.
In this case, it is recommended to use a tractor with double clutch.
Check the length of the cardan as follows:
1)
Separate the "male" and "female" parts and couple it to the PTO. To do so, turn the
quick lock on a clockwise direction and push it until the locking device fits. Then, loose the
lock and pull it to confirm the locking.
2)
Position the tractor in a way that the tire approaches the frame (approximately 70º
- Seventy degrees). Being the cardan bars placed side by side, check if there is a minimum
clearance of 5 - 7 cm.

Reducing the cardan shaft length
If necessary, cut similar parts of the "male" and "female" shaft, as well as the protective
covers. But before cutting, check every possibility of using the cardan without reducing its
length.
The length adjustment will be done when the distance between the equipment and
tractor does not allow coupling. Proceed as follows:
• First of all, disassemble the protective covers.
• Cut the hub and the solid bar (male and female)
in the desired measures. In order to do so, couple half
of the cardan shaft to the tractor and the other half to
the equipment, placing the semi-cardans in parallel
and in several operating positions. Then, determine
the correct length and mark the cutting area.
