MAINTENANCE

BEFORE USE.

• Check the jack for damage and loose fittings. If in doubt, do not 

use. Have damaged parts repaired by your CLARKE dealer.

EVERY 6 MONTHS

• Oil all joints, linkages and front wheel hubs and apply grease to the 

castor bearings.

ANNUALLY

• Change the oil once a year, see below.

STORAGE

Store in a dry place, with the ram fully retracted. If stored for long periods, 
inspect at least once a year, clean and re-oil. For servicing, contact your 
CLARKE dealer, or CLARKE International Service Department.

CHANGING THE OIL

1. Lower the saddle as far as possible.

2. Lift off the cover as shown.

3. Remove the oil filler plug / air vent 

valve.

4. Lay the jack on its side to drain the 

oil into a suitable container.

5. Dispose of the oil in accordance 

with local regulations.

6. Fill with Clarke hydraulic oil 

available from your local dealer.

7. Replace the oil filler plug / air vent 

valve.
