ASSEMBLY
The stabiliser bar is supplied not
attached and must be fitted before
using the ladder. Rest it in the notches
in the widest of the ladder sections
and bolt it in position using a 10 mm
wrench.
• Ensure the foot faces down.
• Take care not to overtighten
and distort the metal section.
Clip the plastic end caps into place.
INSPECTION BEFORE USE
1. Visually check the ladder is not damaged and is safe to use at the start of
each working day;
• No cracks
• No rungs missing, bent or loose
• No stiles damaged or bent (Stiles are the outside uprights on a ladder.)
• No sharp edges or dents
• All caps/plastic fittings are present
2. Remove any contamination from the ladder, such as wet paint, mud, oil or
snow.
3. Before using a ladder at work, a risk assessment should be carried out
respecting the legislation in the country of use.
