REPLACE THE CARBON BRUSHES

1. Use a screwdriver to remove the 

carbon brush holder covers from 
the machine body

2. Remove and examine the carbon 

brushes after long periods of 
operation.

3. Replace them when they have 

worn down.

• The brushes must be kept clean 

and free to move up and down 
in the holders.

• Both brushes must be replaced 

at the same time.

• Only use brushes supplied by your Clarke dealer. 

4. Replace the carbon brush holder covers.
