BATTERY CHARGER ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
This product battery charger is provided with a standard 13 amp, 230 volt
(50Hz), BS 1363 plug, for connection to a standard, domestic electrical supply.
Should the plug need changing at any time, ensure that a plug of identical
specification is used.
WARNING!
The wires in the power cable of this battery charger are
coloured in accordance with the following code:
Blue = Neutral
Brown = Live

This battery charger may be fitted with a non-rewireable plug. If it is
necessary to change the fuse in the plug, the fuse cover must be
refitted. If the fuse cover becomes lost or damaged, the plug must not
be used until a suitable replacement is obtained. Replacement fuse
covers can be obtained from your local Clarke dealer or most electrical
stockists.

If the plug has to be changed because it is not suitable for your socket,
or due to damage, it should be cut off and a replacement fitted,
following the wiring instructions below. The old plug must be disposed of
safely, as insertion into a 13 amp socket could cause an electrical
hazard.

must be connected to the terminal

or coloured
Red
.
This symbol indicates that this is a Class II appliance and does not
require an earth connection.
FUSE RATING
The fuse in the plug must be replaced with one of the same rating
(5 amps)
and this replacement must be ASTA approved to BS1362.
If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician. Do not attempt any electrical
repairs yourself.
