TO LOWER A LOAD

With the supports removed, check to ensure that there are no personnel in the immediate
vicinity before removing the handle from its housing, and replacing it again over the pegs
on the release valve (B, fig,1)

IMPORTANT!  VERY SLOWLY turn the handle anticlockwise to open the release valve, and
allow the jack to lower the load, UNDER COMPLETE CONTROL..  NEVER, under any
circumstances, jerk the valve open

MAINTENANCE

Inspect for Hydraulic leaks, and security of the lifting head. Keep all parts of the jack well
lubricated to prevent any possibility of corrosion. Store the jack in a dry place where it
cannot be attacked by the elements.  Store in its fully retracted position.
If stored for long periods, inspect at least twice a year; clean, and re-oil. For servicing,
contact your CLARKE dealer, or CLARKE Service dept..
