Safety

Warning

Keep the gas torch out of children’s reach.

Never store the gas torch in temperatures above + 50 °C and 
do not expose it to direct sunlight for long periods of time.

The gas burner must only be used in well ventilated areas and 
well away from flammable materials and liquids. 

Fire hazard!

•  Do not use the gas burner to light cigarettes, cigars or pipes.
•  Contains extremely highly flammable pressurised gas. 
•  Only use butane (intended for refilling cigarette lighters) when refilling.
•  Avoid inhaling the fumes from soldering or from other applications. 

Make sure the area is well ventilated.

•  The flame of the gas torch is very hot and can burn you; protect 

your hands and face. Bear in mind that the flame can be difficult 
to see.

•  Make sure that the gas torch is completely turned off and cold 

before putting it away.

•  Hold the gas torch upright, the flame could go out if the torch  

is used in other positions.

•  Allow the torch to cool completely before refuelling it.
•  The gas torch must not be modified or disassembled.
•  Do not puncture the gas canister or throw it onto the fire. 
•  Light the gas torch with the nozzle pointing away from your face 

and hands. Bear in mind that in certain situations the butane flame 
is barely visible.

Use

Refilling gas

Use only butane gas. Make sure the installation knob for gas flow is on 

OFF

. Hold the gas torch upside down and put the gas container nozzle 

straight in to the refill valve (fig. 1). Let the gas torch stand for at least  
2 minutes for the gas to stabilise.

Ignition

Switch the safety latch to 

OFF

 mode and turn the settings knob 

for gas flow anticlockwise 2/3 revolutions (fig. 2). The gas will hiss 
out through the opening/nozzle protection. Press the button to light 
the flame (fig. 3).

Setting the flame

Set the length of the flame using the knob for gasflow. Then set 
the width by turning the knob for airflow, using your fingers.

Shut off/Safety latch

Turn the knob for gasflow clockwise as much as possible to put 
the flame out, make sure the flame is completely out (fig. 4). Switch 
the safety latch to 

LOCK

 mode after putting the flame out, for safety 

reasons.
