Inserting batteries
1. Remove the screw.
2. Press in the locking tabs and remove
the battery cover.
3. Insert 6 x AA/LR6 batteries.
4. Replace the battery cover and locking screw.
Charging the helicopter
The helicopter is charged via the controller or the included USB lead.
Via the controller
1. Open the panel on the side of the controller and withdraw the charger lead.
2. The on/off switch on the helicopter should be set to
OFF
.
3. Connect the charger lead to the helicopter.
4. Switch the controller to
ON
.
5. The red charging light on the controller will come on. Charging takes about
40–50 minutes. The helicopter is fully charged when the charging light shines green.
Via the USB cable
1. Make sure that the helicopter is switched off.
2. Connect one end of the USB lead to the helicopter and the other end to a computer.
3. Charging takes about 40–50 minutes.
Flying zone and advice
•
Indoors and not in the vicinity of cooling fans or air conditioning units.
•
Select an area with plenty of open space.
•
Do not fly the helicopter close to fragile objects.
•
Avoid flying in strong sunlight or lighting as light could possibly affect the controls.
•
Do not cover the transmitter lens on the controller.
•
The helicopter is fragile and could be damaged if not flown with care.
