Connecting to a power source and TV receiver
Various 12 V power supplies can be used to power the aerial amplifier. A car cigarette
lighter outlet plug is included. You can also use AC/DC adaptor (12 V/100 mA positive
centre pin, not included).
Important:
The connections must be made in the following order: If the connections are made in
the wrong order, the filter could short-circuit.
N.B.
Disconnect the power to the aerial filter before disconnecting any of the aerial cables.
1. Connect an aerial cable (not included) between the filter socket marked TV1 or TV2
and your TV. Also follow the instructions in the TV receiver’s manual when connecting.
2. Screw the F-connector onto the aerial housing and push the cover over the F-
connector. The other end of the cable connects to the connector marked TO ANT
on the filter.
3. When connecting the power cable, first connect it to the aerial filter and then to the
power source e.g. cigarette outlet. If you want to cut the power, it should be done
at the power source and not at the filter.
