Care and maintenance
• Disconnect the tool from the air supply and empty the magazine completely before
beginning any service or repairs.
• Heed all the warnings in this manual and on the tool.
• Be extra vigilant when checking faulty tools.
• Do not use any modified parts or parts that do not have the same rating as the
original parts.
• When repairing the tool, make sure that the internal parts are clean and oiled. Apply
O-Lube lubricant or the equivalent to all o-rings. Rub a little O-Lube on all the
o-rings before assembly. Apply a little oil to all the moving parts and pivoting points.
After assembly, drop a couple of drops of oil into the coupling before testing the tool.
Lubrication
For best results, lubricate regularly but sparingly. Oil entering the air-lines will lubricate
the internal components.
Do not use flushing oil or additives because such lubricants wear out the seals and o-
rings, reducing the power output and creating the need for more maintenance.
If an oiler is not connected to the air supply, apply a few drops of oil to the air inlet nip-
ple once or twice a day. Only a few drops of oil are needed (3 – 5 drops) a time.
If too much oil is used it will just gather in the air line and appear when air is released.
