Door Sentinel with reminder feature

Safety

damage if used improperly.
• The sentinel is not intended for outdoor use.
• The device contains small components.

Product description
• 3 different audio options: Dingdong chime,
alarm or a voice recorded message.
• The dingdong chime and the alarm sound
when anyone comes through the door.
• The recorded message (up to 10 seconds)
can be used as a reminding system or to
leave a message.
Inserting the battery
When the door sentinel’s audio signals become
weak it is time to change the battery.
1. Loosen the battery cover screw.
2. Slide the battery cover downwards.
3. Insert the battery according to the polarity
markings in the compartment. (1 × 9 V battery).
4. Replace the battery cover.
Operation
1. Turn on the door sentinel by sliding the [ ON/OFF ]
control to the
ON
position. The red LED
should then come on.
2. You must then wait 30 seconds before
the door sentinel activates. Once the red LED
starts flashing (once every 10 sec.) the device
will be ready to use.
3. During activation, press [ MODE ] the required
number of times to choose between the chime,
alarm or recorded message options. A green
LED will light above your selection. (You can
press [ PLAY ] to listen to your selection.)
Dingdong chime (pre-installed)
Whenever the door sentinel senses movement,
the green LED will light and the chime will sound.
Alarm
Whenever the door sentinel senses movement,
the red LED will light and the alarm will sound for
20 seconds.
Recorded message
Recording a message:
1. Depress [ REC ] while you record your message.
It is advisable to hold the sentinel close to
your mouth for the best recording quality.
The green LED will flash during recording.
2. Release [ REC ] once you finish recording your
message. The message duration is max.
10 seconds. If you go over this time, recording
will stop automatically and the LED will stop
flashing.
Whenever the door sentinel senses movement
the green LED will light and the recorded message
will be played.
Placement
Place the door sentinel approx. one metre above
floor level.

Follow local ordinances when disposing of this
product. If you are unsure about how to dispose
of this product contact your municipality.
