Description

• 

The product is intended to protect connected devices from temporary transient voltage surges in the electrical system 
e.g. during thunderstorms. Note that the surge protector is not effective against a close or direct lightning strike.

• 

Suitable to use for computers, faxes, VCRs, etc. 

• 

Equipped with 6 x outlets and 2 pole switch, output for TV antenna (in/out). 

• 

230 V, Max 16 A, earthed.

• 

Protects the TV signal from interference from lightning and overvoltage in the power supply. 

• 

Equipped with 3 x varistors, 3 x discharge tubes, and 3 x fuses to protect connected electronics. 

• 

Two indicators display both protection status and power. 

• 

The cable can be wound up, and hung on the wall mounted bracket. 

Connection

1.  Check that all electric devices which are being connected to the surge protector are turned off. 
2.  Check that the surge protector’s switch is turned off (0) and then insert the plugs. 
3.  Plug the plug into a wall socket.
4.  Turn on the surge protector’s power switch (I), the indicator for power on and the green Protect indicator lights up. 
5.  Plug the TV antenna leads into the outlets. 
6.  Switch on the connected device/s.

Safety

• 

Only intended for connection to earthed indoor outlets. 

• 

Check that all the connected devices have the correct voltage (230V 50 Hz.).

• 

If the On/Off indicator is not lit then the outlets are not turned on. 

• 

If the green Protect indicator light is not lit the surge protector does not work. 

• 

Note that no surge protector/protector can protect your equipment from a direct lightning strike.
