• Always keep the appliance’s openings free from foreign objects.
• The appliance should never be connected using an on/off
timer or other equipment which can automatically switch
the appliance on.
• Keep your hair away from air inlet during use.
• Never use hairspray whilst the appliance is switched on.
• Never cover the air inlet during use.
• Never place the appliance on a soft, pliable surface such as
a cushion or quilt.
• Do not use the appliance on wigs or hair extensions.
• The mains lead should be checked regularly. Never use
the appliance if the mains lead or plug is damaged.
• The mains lead must be changed if damaged. This is to
prevent the risk of electric shock or fire and should only be
carried out by the manufacturer, authorized service facility or
a qualified tradesman.

Care and maintenance
• Regularly check that the air inlet is not clogged. Clean if necessary.
• Clean the product using a lightly moistened cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents,
never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• Unplug the mains lead from the wall socket and store the appliance in a dry, dust-
free environment and out of the reach of children whenever it is not used for any
extended period.
