Wireless alarm/door guard with remote control.
•
The IR Detector emits a very loud alarm signal (>100 dB) or chime
signal when activated.

The remote control covers an area of approximately 4 metres.
Radio interface enables activation/deactivation without a clear view.
You can disengage the alarm before stepping inside the door.

The remote control operates on 3 LR44 batteries (included) and the
IR detector on 4 LR6 batteries (not included.)

Installation
1. Remove the battery lid on the back of the IR detector and insert 4
R6 batteries (not included) according to the markings in the battery
compartment, or connect a battery eliminator for 6 VDC, 600 mA
(negative centre pin) (not included.)
2. Press the [ON] button on the remote control. If the red light does not
come on, a plastic strip protecting the batteries must be removed.
3. Choose a suitable placement for the IR detector so that it is turned
toward the area to be monitored (the sensor recognized up to 6 metres
at an angle of 90°.)
4. Attach the wall mount in the place you have chosen, install the IR
detector to the wall mount.
5. Adjust the angle of the IR detector; tighten the screw on the wall mount
to fixate the balls.
Note:
Do note place IR detectors closer than1 metre apart to avoid
radio interference.
Use
1. Set the desired function by using the controls at the side: CHIME
(door guard) or ALARM (alarm).
2. Press [ON] on the remote control, a signal emits from the IR detector
when it is activated.
3. A delay of 30 seconds provides enough time for you to move from the
monitoring area of the alarm before it goes on.
4. When the alarm is activated, it reacts to all movements in the
monitoring area, the siren sounds on the “alarm” setting or a “chime” is
emitted on at the “chime” setting.
5. Turn off the IR detector by pressing [OFF] on the remote control.
A signal emits from the IR detector when it is turned off.
The IR detector and the remote control have controls for changing chan-
nels, so that this can be done if other wireless products interfere. The con-
trol on the remote control is located below the battery lid and that on the IR
detector on the inside of the battery compartment. The controls have
16 possible settings.
The remote control is set to Channel 1 and the IR detector when they come
from the factory; adjust to the same channel on the IR detector and the
remote control when you change channels.

Battery warning
The IR detector has a red battery warning lamp which goes on when the
batteries (4x LR6) are low. Replace the batteries in the remote control
(3x LR44) when their function begins to deteriorate. The batteries for the
remote control are in a compartment on the back. Remove the screw on
the lid and insert new batteries according to the marking on the bottom of
the battery compartment.
Caution:
The siren emits a very loud noise.
