General safety instructions for all ladders

Fall hazard.
Inspect the ladder after
delivery. Before every
use, visually check
that the ladder is not
damaged and is safe
to use. Never use
a damaged ladder.
Maximum total
load 150 kg.
Do not use the ladder
on an uneven or unfirm
base.
Do not overreach.
Do not erect the ladder on
contaminated ground.
The ladder may only be used
by a maximum of one person
at a time.
Do not ascend or descend
unless you are facing
the ladder.
Keep a secure grip on
the ladder when ascending
and descending. Maintain
a handhold whilst working
from a ladder or take additional
safety precautions if you
cannot.
Avoid work that imposes
a sideways load on ladders,
such as side-on drilling through
solid materials.
