2. Firmly press in the hand/knee rail (E) on
the upper part of the ladder and secure it
with the included screw.
Regular working order inspections
Visual inspections should be performed regularly to check that:
• the stiles are not bent, twisted, cracked, corroded or damaged in any way
• the surface of the stiles around each rung fixing is in good condition
• no fittings, bolts or nuts are loose, missing or corroded
• none of the treads are loose, missing, corroded or damaged in any way
• none of the ladder feet are missing, loose, worn or damaged in any way
• the entire ladder is free from mud, wet paint, oil, grease or other slippery substances.
Warning:
If the ladder fails to comply with any of the requirements listed above, it must NOT be used.
Instructions for use
Fold down the support legs (F) completely and
press the platform (C) down towards the stay
between the support legs.
Warning:
Make sure that the platform is horizontal
and completely fixed against the support leg
stay before you climb the ladder. If it is not,
the ladder is not secure in its fully extended
position, which could result in an injury or
damage to property.
