• Do not use the toaster if it is in any way damaged, has parts missing or does not
seem to work properly.
• Do not open the housing. The housing contains dangerous, exposed current-
carrying components. Contact with these components could result in electric shock.
• Never place anything on top of the toaster.
• The toaster should only be repaired by qualified service technicians using
original spare parts.
• The toaster should not be disassembled or modified.
• Toast can start to burn, so the product should not be placed close to or beneath
flammable materials such as curtains.
• Never use the product together with a timer switch, multi-socket extension lead
or similar device.
• Before cleaning the product, make sure that it has cooled and is unplugged.
Empty and clean the crumb tray regularly. Use a soft, damp cloth to clean
the housing. Never use solvents or abrasive cleaning agents.

If the mains lead is damaged in any way it must be replaced by
a qualified electrician.

• Clean the toaster using a lightly moistened cloth.
Only use mild cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
