Toasting
1. Connect the mains lead to a 230 V power point.
2. Insert the slices of bread into the toasting slots.
3. Set the browning control to level 3 or 4.
4. Lower the toasting lever. The bread will automatically be centred in the slots.
Note:
The toasting lever will not lock into place unless the toaster is plugged into
a power point.
5. When the bread has been toasted, it will pop up automatically and the toasting
lever will return to the starting position.
Note:
The top of the toaster can become
very hot.
6. The browning control can be adjusted as desired. Do not adjust the browning
control whilst toasting is in progress. Press [STOP] and then turn the browning
control knob. Then resume toasting.
Warming rack for bread or rolls
1. Press the button to raise the warming rack (3).
2. Follow the instructions for toasting in the slots but lay the bread or rolls on
the rack instead.
Reheating previously toasted bread
1. Connect the mains lead to a 230 V power point.
2. Insert the slices of toast into the toasting slots.
3. Lower the toasting lever.
4. Press [ ].
5. The toast will be warmed up for a short while. Keep an eye on the toast to make
sure that it does not burn. Cancel the reheating by pressing [STOP] or wait until
the toasting lever returns to the starting position.
Defrosting frozen bread slices
1. Connect the mains lead to a 230 V power point.
2. Insert the frozen slices of bread into the toasting slots.
3. Lower the toasting lever.
4. Press [ ].
5. When the bread has defrosted, it will pop up automatically and the toasting lever
will return to the starting position.
