RECOMMENDATIONS BEFORE OPERATION

The heater may only be used in open or at least well ventilated rooms.

IMPORTANT!

Be careful not to block the intake grille of the heater. Any work on the heater must be carried

out when the heater is cold and the power plug is disconnected. The socket must be

The socket outlet must have an effective grounding system. Never bring flammable or explosive materials

near the unit. The room where the appliance is used must be adequately ventilated and free of and the

absence of any residue of dust, gas or vapors that are flammable or toxic at high temperatures. Never fill up

with fuel while the appliance is in operation; any possible loss of fuel on the floor must be fuel on the floor

must be carefully wiped off. Do not allow the fan suction to attract paper, cloth, plastic, powders or any

other material that could clog or damage the unit. Never operate the generator without fuel: despite the

intervention of the control box, which stops the unit, running without fuel may cause the fuel pump to seize.

Use only the type of fuel indicated on the machine’s technical data plate.

N.B

. Do not add petrol or other solvents to the fuel; in the case of use at particularly low temperatures, use

fuel with additives that are readily available on the market.

Electrical connections :

Warning

Before starting up the machine, check that the connection voltage corresponds to that indicated on the

data sheet on board the machine.

-

The connection must be made in accordance with the standards and must be properly

grounded.

-  Have a qualified electrician install a high-sensitivity differential circuit breaker, intervention at 30

mA or less.

-  If necessary, it is possible to use extension cables with a cross-section of 1.5 mm2 for lengths up to

10 m. and 2.5 mm2 for lengths between 10 and 50 m.

In case of replacement of the original power supply cable, use a cable with an adequate cross-section and a

grounding conductor; the cable must have a continuous insulating coating suitable for use outdoors and in

closed areas. The cable must have a continuous insulating coating suitable for use outdoors and in enclosed

areas. A fume exhaust in accordance with the standards must be provided.

SWITCHING ON / OFF

Start-up (without room thermostat)

• Fill the fuel tank with fuel.

• Insert the plug into the socket (the red light comes on).

• Turn the ON/OFF switch to the

ON

position (the green light comes on and the fan starts).

• The automatic ignition cycle is started by the control box.

After a few seconds of automatic monitoring, the generator remains regularly in operation.

• If, due to some small irregularities, the unit stops and the

RESET

 light is on, the

RESET

 button must be

pressed to restart the ignition cycle.

Start-up (without room thermostat)

• The unit is already adapted to be connected to a room thermostat (optional).

• If necessary, the connection should be made using the socket provided for this purpose on the

electrical panel.

• After setting the room thermostat, turn the switch to the AUT position. To switch off the appliance,

use either the main switch or the room thermostat. In both cases, a correct cooling cycle of the

generator is guaranteed.

During normal operation of the machine, the

RESET

button flashes. In case of a malfunction, the

button remains lit for 10 seconds. Determine and solve the cause of the

If necessary, determine and solve the cause of the problem and reset the machine by pressing the

RESET

 button.
