OE 1319
ELECTRIC ORBITAL SANDER 5mm Ø150mm
OVERLOAD PROTECTION SYSTEMS
The sander is equipped with an overload protection system.
During periods when the user’s support force is too high, the sander LED flashes red, slightly slowing
the motor down to warn the user and maintain a more efficient rotation despite the overload
condition.
The continuous support force must not exceed approximately 3 Kg.
If the user continues with a force greater than 3 Kg, the LED flashes alternately 'red and green' and
then stops.
To immediately restart the sander, release the lever and press the lever again and continue sanding.
Repeated overloads will cause the motor to stop frequently and the tool temperature to increase.
OVERHEATING PROTECTION
The sander has the ability to monitor the temperature of internal electronic systems and can stop
the tool when the temperature reaches harmful levels.
During periods of high internal temperature, the sander stops if the temperature reaches a harmful
level. The sander cannot be restarted until the internal temperature has cooled to a safe level for
electronic systems.
The cooling time depends on local conditions. An initial waiting period of
5 minutes is recommended.
Repeated overheating will result in longer cooling times..
FIXING THE DISC PADS
The disc support plate is specially designed to be attached to the sander.
1. Use the open-end wrench provided with the tool to mount the tray. Tighten firmly by hand. Do
not overtighten.
2. To remove the tray, insert the open-end wrench between it and the housing. Unscrew.
CLEANING
1. Blow periodically and especially the area above the tray with dry compressed air. All plastic parts
should be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth. NEVER use solvents to clean plastic parts.
2. Wear safety glasses when using compressed air.
