22. Attach the retention cord.
Locate the retention cord. This keeps your boat from floating away when you stand in shallow water to fish.
To attach, simply clip the carabiners at each end of the cord to the D-rings at the front of each pontoon float.
23. The bladder repair kit.
Included with your boat are self-adhesive tube patches to repair any tears or holes in the pontoon bladders.
We recommend storing these in one of the pockets to keep them available for repairs.
24. Do the final fitting and adjustments.
Sit in the boat on dry land and adjust the foot pegs and oar lock placement to your leg length and preference.
Float your pontoon boat in shallow water. Push off, get seated comfortably, place your feet on the foot pegs and check to
see if you are level in the water. (This is easier with a another person on shore).
WARNING - The goal is to find your balance point. When you are floating in the boat it should be level in the water.
WARNING - Using a motor and battery or placing heavy cargo in the wire cargo deck may necessitate moving the seat
forward.
WARNING - If you need to adjust the seat or foot pegs bring the boat back to shore and make the needed
adjustments.
WARNING - DO NOT STAND UP IN YOUR BOAT WHILE ON THE WATER.
YOU COULD LOOSE YOUR BALANCE AND FALL OVERBOARD.
WARNING - THIS BOAT IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE IN SALTWATER.
Practice going forward and backward a bit to get comfortable. Then catch some fish and enjoy your boat!
21. Moving your pontoon boat.
To move your boat using the wheel, you must first have the wheel
installed in the down position.
To move your boat, grasp the handles on the front of each pontoon
float and pull up to raise the front of the boat off the ground. You may
also use the foot pegs as handles.
Make sure not to overload your boat with cargo when moving as it
could damage the wheel and frame.

20. Attach the wheel.
Turn your pontoon boat on its side. You will notice under
the seat that there are two square receiver tubes. The one
that is mounted on center line is used when the wheel is
in the DOWN position, when moving your pontoon boat.
The other is angled off center line, and is used when the
wheel is in the UP position, for storing your boat and
during fishing.
To secure the wheel in the
DOWN
position, slide the
square wheel support tube with the wheel facing down
into the
center line mounted
square receiver tube. Line
up the holes in both the support tube and the receiver
tube and insert the clevis pin attached to the seat frame.
Tighten the screw knob to keep the frame snug.
To secure the wheel in the
UP
position, rotate the wheel
assembly 90 degrees so the wheel axle is facing the wire
cargo deck, slide the wheel support tube into the
off center line mounted
square receiver tube. Line up the
holes in both tubes and insert the clevis pin.
