Unpacking the device
• Remove the device and all included accessories from the box.
• In order to remove any contamination caused during the
manufacturing process, clean the mixing container, mixing
bowl, the various lids and other accessories in soapy water
before first time use.
Warning:
The blades of the blade assembly are very sharp. There
is a risk of injury!
• After cleaning, thoroughly dry all parts.
Installation
• Make sure the mains plug is not connected when replac
-
ing any accessory. Only then you may install and use the
accessories as described below.
• In order to avoid injuries, the safety lid (7) must be mounted
onto the drive shaft of the mixer drive before using the mix
-
ing bowl. Operation without these lids is not possible!
Warning:
Even when only using the mixer, the bowl must be mounted.
The tool inserted in the pivoting arm will always rotate, even if
the mixing bowl is not installed!
Electric Connection
• Make sure the mains voltage to be connected to matches
the voltage of the device. Check the rating plate on the
bottom of the device for detailed information.
Operation
Using the mixing bowl and tools
1. Only adjust the pivoting arm without the carafe being at
-
tached! Press the button (6) and use your other hand to lift
up the pivoting arm. When releasing the button, the pivoting
arm will either rest at half height or in vertical position.

For using the whisk (16d) first attach splashguard (8):
Hold splashguard with collar upward.
Note:
At the bottom of the arm you can see two grooves left and
right.
Slide splashguard with its tab into these grooves and lock
by turning clockwise.
Note:
When preparing dough, add ingredients through the filler
spout to the bowl.
3. The opening for the tool attachment is located on the bot
-
tom side of the pivoting arm. Push the end of the dough/
stirring hook or of the beater/egg whisk into the opening
until it clicks into place. Carefully twist when pushing in
order to attach the parts more easily.
4. Place the bowl in its seat and turn clockwise all the way to
the stop.
5. Now fill in your ingredients.
Caution:
Do not overfill the appliance, the max. amount of ingre
-
dients is 2kg or 1.3 litres respectively for liquids.
6. Press the button (6) and use your other hand to slowly
lower the pivoting arm.
Caution:
Do not let the pivoting arm fall downwards!
7. Connect the mains plug to a properly installed 230V / 50Hz
wall outlet.The blue lamp in the display indicates the readi
-
ness for operation.
8. - Press the On/Off switch (3) to turn on the device.
- Press the “+” button (2) several times to select a speed
setting. It will be shown on the display.
- Use the “-” button to reduce the speed again.
- Press the “P” button (5) for pulse operation (mixing in
short intervals). Press and hold the button according
to the desired interval length. During pulse mode the
device will operate at its highest speed setting.
Note:
► The display will indicate the time of the mixing process.
► During operation at highest speed odor might occur. This
is no malfunction of the device.

recipes.
Note:
► Short-term operation: Do not operate the appliance to
operate with heavy dough for more than 2 minutes and
allow it to cool down for 2 minutes afterwards.
► Use the splashguard for liquid dough.
9. In order to pause or stop mixing, press the On/Off switch.
Disconnect the mains plug.
10. Press the switch (6) and use the other hand to lift the pivot
