Unpacking the Appliance
WARNING: Risk of injury!
Some parts of the accessory are very sharp!
1. Remove the packaging of the appliance.
2.
Remove all packaging material such as plastic film, filler
material, cable ties and box packaging. Keep the blade
guard of the dicing cutter for appropriate storage.
3.
Check that all parts are in the box.
4. If the packaging content should be incomplete or if dam-
ages should be noticeable, do not operate the appliance.
Return it to the distributor immediately.
NOTE:
Dust or production residues may still be found on the
appliance. We recommend that you clean the appliance as
described under “Cleaning”.
General Notes on Use
Functionality of the device
• The appliance is equipped with safety switches. The appli-
ance can only be operated if you observe the following:
-
When fitting onto the motor housing, the working bowl
or the blender jug with the knife block must audibly
click into place.
-
When using the working bowl, either the lid or the filter
sieve must audibly click into place onto the bowl.
•
Turn the control knob to select the speed. Always start
slowly with a low speed.
•
PULSE
= Pulse mode: Hold the control knob in this posi-
tion to run the appliance at the maximum speed setting.

0
is the off position.
CAUTION:
•
Always set the control knob to
0
before plugging in.
CAUTION:
• Disconnect the plug from the socket after use.
Electrical Connection
Ensure that your mains power corresponds with the specifi

cations on the type label.
Using the Working Bowl
Assembly of the Accessories
WARNING:
The cutting inserts and the dicing blade are very sharp
on the cutting / grating surfaces and the edges! Therefore
use these accessories with the necessary care to prevent
injuries.
Attachment holder for cutting inserts (16)
The attachment holder has 3 different inserts. Remove the
inserts by pulling the tab of the insert forward and then up.
Use the recesses of the attachment holder to insert the
attachments.
Attachment taper for dicing blades and kneading hooks (4)
Insert the dicing blade or the kneading hook onto the attach-
ment holder. Press the attachment up as far as possible.
Fitting the Bowl
1. Place the guide pin onto the drive shaft of the motor
housing.
2.
NOTE:
The bowl has a mark at the bottom. The symbols and
can be found on the motor housing.
Align the bowl marking with the
symbol. Turn the bowl
towards . It latches into place.
3. Select an attachment. Place it onto the guide pin.
4. Close the working bowl with the lid. Tighten it by turning
it clockwise until it audibly clicks into the lock mechanism
of the handle.
