TROUBLESHOOTING (cont.) 

 
Symptom: Weak 

vacuum

 

 

Problem: 

Worn out lid gasket 

Solution: 

Replace lid gasket (# 12062) 

 

Problem: 

Defective vacuum motor (noisy bearing, carbon brush sparking burn out armature & worn 
out carbon brush) 

Solution: 

Replace vacuum motor (# 12210) and motor gasket (# 12062.1)

 

 
Problem: 

Lint accumulation on vacuum filter screen. 

Solution: 

Clean filter screen. If screen is defective, replace screen (# 12076.1)  

 

Symptom: 

Waste pump out will not start or run

 

 

Problem: 

GFCI reset button popping out only when waste pump is turned on indicates damage to 
pump seal or internal cable connection leak. 

Solution: 

Have a qualified pump service shop repair the pump. If the pump is defective, replace 
pump (# 12305) 

 

Problem: 

Defective rocker switch.  

Solution: 

Replace black DPDT rocker switch (# 12276) or lighted rocker switch  

  (# 

12027) 

 

Problem: 

Debris under float switch, float not moving freely, defective float switch.  

Solution: 

Clean debris. Have a qualified shop check pump if it still won’t work  

  

 

properly. 

 

Symptom: 

Waste pump motor overheats and trips overload /GFCI 

 

Problem: 

Defective capacitor, motor shorted, impeller or seal locked, 

Solution: 

Have a qualified shop check pump (# 12305). Replace if necessary.
