Additional or replacement cables are available from your retailer.
Do not rely on cable color-coding due to manufacturer variations. Always check before applying power.
Configuration.
Verify NEO operation via the configuration software.
• Disconnect the NEO from your computer.
• Install latest STM32 Virtual COM Port Driver

• Install and launch the Cleanflight Configurator tool

• Connect flight controller to computer via USB cable.
• Select the correct COM port if it is not automatically detected.
• Click connect, verify that communication is established.
Disconnect and
upgrade the firmware
using the Cleanflight configurator tool. (See Firmware Upgrade section).

DFU driver installation.
A DFU driver is required to flash the latest firmware.
• Disconnect the NEO from your computer.
• Launch the cleanflight configurator.
• Press and hold the BOOT button.
• Connect the NEO to your computer.
• Release the BOOT button.
• If ‘DFU’ appears in the port selection then a DFU driver is installed, disconnect the NEO and then follow Firm-
ware Upgrade procedure.
• If ‘DFU’ does not appear in the port selection then a DFU driver must be installed now.
• Install Zadig.

• Run Zadig, From the menus enable ‘Options / List all devices’.
• Select the ‘STM32 Bootloader’ device in the list.
• Select WinUSB to the right of the green arrow.
• Click ‘Replace driver’ and follow prompts to install the DFU driver.
• Restart this process from the beginning to verify DFU driver installation is correct.
