Charging Up the Battery
PLEASE NOTE!
■
The motor unit must be switched off when the mains adapter is being connected or
removed.
■
Pull the mains adapter out of the plug socket if it is not used for a lengthy period of
time.
It is essential that you charge up the battery fully before you
fi
rst use the device in
order to achieve the maximum charging capacity.
1. Plug the barrel connector of the mains adapter into the connecting socket (

) on the
motor unit (

2. Connect the mains adapter to an easily accessible plug socket. The control lamp (

starts to
fl
ash red.
Allow the battery to charge up for approx. 3 hours. When the battery is fully charged,
the control lamp is lit up constantly green.
3. First disconnect the mains adapter from the mains power and then from the motor
unit. The control lamp goes out.
Functions
• The device has an integrated
fi
lter system. The dirty water which is sucked up by the
device is
fi
ltered so that it can be used again for cleaning.
• The device has two different modes:
–
Preparation mode
–
Operating mode.
In preparation mode, the cleaning cloth is wetted. In operating mode, the suction
function is switched on to be able to suck up the dirty water. The modes are set via
the On / Off switch (
