• The device has a dirty water sensor. After the water tank is
fi
lled or the water is
changed, this measures the particle density in the liquid. The dirty water sensor uses
this output value to determine when the water needs to be changed.
Please Note:
The dirty water sensor is reset once the battery has been charged or
once the control lamp has displayed a water change
and
the device has then been
switched off.
Filling the Water Tank
1. Hold the device by the handle (

) with one hand.
2. Reach around the water tank (

) with your other hand and
press your thumb against the handle until the water tank
is released (see picture). Some force may be required to
do this.
3. Take off the water tank.
4. Pull the
fi
lter plug out of the water tank.
5. Fill the water tank with water and a little window cleaning agent if necessary.

Note:
The water tank holds approx. 90 ml.
6. Close the water tank with the
fi
lter plug. Make sure that the
fi
lter plug
fi
ts correctly
when you do this.
7. Attach the water tank to the motor unit (

). To do this,
fi
rst insert the end with the
fi
lter
plug into the device and press the other end against the handle until you feel and hear
the water tank engage.
Attaching / Detaching the Cleaning Cloth

Attaching:
Place the cleaning cloth on the hook-and-loop surface (

) on the bottom
of the cleaning attachment (

) and press it on
fi
rmly.

Detaching:
To detach the cleaning cloth, pull it off the cleaning attachment.

Never clean screens (televisions, computer monitors etc.) with the device. Electrical
devices of this type are not resistant to moisture.
■
Do not suck up large amounts of water at once. Only use on vertical surfaces.
■
Do not detach the water tank during use.
■
Do not use the device when it is connected to the mains power.
1. Attach the cleaning cloth to the cleaning attachment (

) (see the “Attaching / Detach-
ing the Cleaning Cloth” chapter).
2. Fill the water tank (

) (see the “Filling the Water Tank” chapter).
3. Press the On / Off switch (

). The control lamp (

) lights up constantly green. The
device is in preparation mode and the pump switches on.
4. Wait until the cleaning cloth is suf
fi
ciently damp.
