FITTING A REPLACEMENT FILTER PAD PAF-0043 (AUSTRALIA/NZ ONLY)
For Combination Filters (AUSTRALIA) the particulate filter pad should be changed when the filter alarm alerts the wearer that
the particulate filter is blocked.
Pry the Snap Lid away from the filter using any flat lever in the six places shown in the diagram above.
Replace with a new particulate filter pad. Ensure that the particulate filter pad is correctly positioned with the text
“THIS
SIDE TO RESPIRATOR” facing the respirator.
Replace the Snap Lid and p
ress down firmly at the 6 locations shown until you hear a “click”.
The pad is now sealed to the gas filter and ready to use.

Battery Information
Always correctly use and maintain the internal lithium ion battery packs. Failure to do so may result in fire or explosion or
could adversely affect respirator performance and result in injury, sickness or death.

Do not charge the on-board battery with unapproved chargers, in enclosed cabinets without ventilation, near flammable
liquids or gasses, or near sources of high heat
- Do not immerse the device in water
- Do not use, charge or store the device outside the recommended temperature limits

CHARGING THE INTERNAL BATTERY
The battery shall only be charged in non-Hazardous areas.
Move out of the hazardous area before charging CleanSpace Respirator
Charging voltage Um = 14.7V from an / via an ATEX certified intrinsically safe Category I (Ex ia) device
CleanSpace EX uses a different charger from all other CleanSpace devices. Do not attempt to charge your CleanSpace EX
with a charger from a CleanSpace2 or CleanSpace ULTRA. The EX Charger is also not suitable for charging those devices.
CleanSpace EX requires an AC adaptor with 14.7V nominal output to charge the internal lithium ion polymer battery, which is
higher voltage than used in other CleanSpace respirators.
