ATTACH HOSE EXTENDER & QUICK-CONNECT HOSE
1 . Pull the quick-connect hose out of the storage compartment on the pitcher
handle .
2 . Attach hose extender to quick-connect hose:
• Grip quick-connect hose connector with one
hand, pull back on the outer ring and hold . With
the other hand, insert the small end of the hose
extender into the quick-connect hose connector
(L)
.
• Once the small end of the hose extender is inserted
into the quick-connect hose connector, release
outer ring . Make sure hose extender is securely in
place
(M)
.
3 . Attach hose extender to faucet:
• Grip hose extender connector with one hand, pull
back on outer ring and hold .
• Place connector under the faucet and push up onto
the faucet until it fits securely in place
(N)
.
• Release the outer ring . Pull on the connector to
ensure a tight fit .
Important: To avoid damage to the hose extender
connector, you must pull back and hold the
connector’s outer ring before inserting onto the
faucet.

Procedure B – Faucet with Threads Inside
Note: For this type of faucet, you will need to use one of the adapters with
the
®
aerator to fit the size of your faucet.
To install aerator with adapter:
1 . Make sure both adapters have the rubber washer in place . If not, insert a
rubber washer into adapter

.
2 . Try one adapter to connect onto faucet . If it is not the right size then try the
other adapter .
3 . Once you have the right size adapter, screw onto faucet
(H)
.
4 . To tighten adapter in place, insert a quarter into the bottom slots of adapter
and turn

. Remove the quarter .
5 . Once adapter is secure, screw wide end of
®
aerator onto adapter
(K)
with permanent rubber washer in place .
Important: Never remove the permanent rubber washer from
®
aerator.
You are ready to connect your pitcher!
