to secure these to the rafter. Loosen and adjust if
needed before installing the horizontal doorframe tube.
14. Choose one square tube for the only horizontal
frame member (shown above) of the end wall
framing and cut it to the width of the rough door
opening.
15. Slide the horizontal frame tube between the vertical
doorframe tubes and secure as shown in the next
diagram.
16. Verify that the tube is level and attach it to the end
wall assembly between the vertical doorframe tubes
(as shown) using two QH1330 angle brackets to
complete the rough doorframe opening.
NOTE:
To this point, all end wall frame tubes are in
place, plumb, and secured. The end panel is also
installed.
17. Continue with cutting the end panel and installing
the pedestrian door.
INSTALL PEDESTRIAN DOOR
To this point, the end panel and doorframe are installed
(front end wall).
For the following procedure, the rough door opening is
cut in the end panel and the material is wrapped around
each frame member of the doorframe
before
the
pedestrian door is installed.
Complete the following steps:
1. Using the frame tubes of the door opening as a
guide, use a utility knife or scissors to cut through
the end panel and remove the material from the
opening where the door will be installed.
ATTENTION:
Allow enough of the end panel material to
remain so you can wrap it around the doorframe tubes
and attach to the tubes using Tek screws and fender
washers.
Remove additional material from around the brackets if
needed. See the photo that follows. All screws that
secure the end panel to the frame must be installed on
the surface as shown below (see arrow) and above to
avoid interfering with the door installation.
