FRAME ASSEMBLY
Gather the parts:
• Pipes 1.315" x 63" swaged (#131S063D)
• Pipes 1.315" x 21" plain (#131P021D)
• Pipes 1.315" x 51" plain (#131P051D)
• Pipes 1.315" x 90" plain (#131P090D)
• 3-way corner couplers (#103933)
• 4-way crown coupler (#103930)
• Carriage bolts (FAH005B) and nuts (FALB01B)
• Tek screws (FA4484B)

Using the Front Profile diagram in the Quick Start
section, assemble the four (4) hip rafter pipes.
Each hip rafter is assembled using one (1) 21" plain
pipe (#131P021D) and one (1) 63" swaged pipe
(#131S063D).
NOTE
: Slide the swaged end of the pipe into the plain,
non-drilled end
of the shorter pipe.
Position the drilled
ends of all pipes at the end of each pipe assembly.
The
holes are used to secure the pipe assemblies to the
couplers and crown fittings.
2. Take each hip rafter pipe assembly and attach it to the
crown fitting. Tighten the mounting bolts.
NOTE:
Secure the completed pipe assemblies to the
corner couplers using the 1/4" bolts and nuts.

Using the Front Profile diagram in the Quick Start
section, assemble the four (4) base rafter pipes.
Each base rafter is assembled using one (1) 51"
plain pipe (#131P051D) and one (1) 63" swaged pipe
(#131S063D).
4. Take the corner couplers and the assembled base
rafter pipes and construct the roof frame of the tent.
5. Return to each rafter pipe splice and verify that all
pipes are seated at the joints.
NOTE:
Use the 1/4" x 2" carriage bolts and nuts to
secure each assembly to the crown fitting.

Some couplers may have more than one mounting hole for the
different rafter pipes.
Use the mounting hole that is positioned
closest to where the rafter pipe is inserted into the coupler.

6. Using the supplied Tek screws (FA4482B) and the
nut setter (100441), secure each rafter pipe splice as
shown above.
NOTE:
Install all Tek
screws in a location
that will not touch
the main cover
when it is installed.
To protect the cover,
wrap duct tape
(customer-supplied)
around the Tek
screws and pipe
splice if desired.
