ASSEMBLE AND INSERT ROLL-UP CONDUIT
The following instructions describe assembling the roll-up panel conduit. The roll-up conduit is inserted into the pocket at
the bottom edge of the roll-up panel. It is then attached to the twist-of-the-wrist assembly, which rolls up the panel.

After the conduit is assembled, move it to the first

roll-up panel and slide the conduit into the panel
pocket.
Take the CC6212 fabric clips, divide the quantity in

half, and attach half of the clips to secure the conduit
to panel. Clips prevent the conduit from turning
inside the pocket.
Install one clip at each rafter along
each side.
Roll the conduit toward the frame in the direction
5.
that allows water to run off the panel–and not collect
in the rolled up panel–until excess panel is wound
tightly around the conduit.
Tie or anchor the panel ends to secure the panel in

place during the main cover installation.
Repeat for remaining roll-up conduit.
7.
Continue with the installation of the main cover. Go
8.
to the Main Cover Installation section and complete
the steps as instructed.
Diagram above shows the installed roll-up panel including
the assembled conduit inserted into the pocket. (Length of
conduit extending from pocket varies.)
Complete these steps to assemble and attach one (1)
roll-up conduit:
Locate the sections of
1.
#131S075 pipe needed to
assemble the roll-up conduit. Assemble as many
pipe sections as needed to equal or exceed the
length of the panel.
NOTE:
Assembled pipe may run a few inches or
as much as a couple of feet beyond the end of the
panel. Pipe is cut to length in a later step.
Secure each pipe joint using a Tek screw (FA4482B)
2.
and wrap the connection and screw with a couple of
layers of duct tape to prevent damage to the panel.
Panel conduit
is trimmed to
length during
the twist-of-the-
wrist assembly.
