Install nut and tighten.
NOTE:
It may be necessary to trim the conduit and
panel to the proper length so that it aligns with the
gearbox. Adapt these instructions to your application.
Attach the crank handle to the Twist-of-the-Wrist

Roll-Up
Conduit
(Panel is not
shown.)
Frame differs from
actual frame.
NOTE:
If the panel rolls in the desired direction, but
you want to turn the crank in the opposite direction for
the same result, unbolt, reposition the gearbox, and
remount it on the same side of the mounting bracket.
Repeat for remaining roll-up panel.
18.
In addition to securing the main cover, the main cover
straps also serve as the anti-billow straps for the roll-
up side panels.

SHELTER CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Proper care and maintenance of the shelter is important.
Check the following items periodically to properly maintain
the shelter:
Regularly check the cover to ensure that it remains
•
tight and in proper repair. Tighten and adjust the
tension as needed to prevent damage and wear.
Replace all damaged or broken components
•
immediately.
Check connections and all fasteners to verify that they
•
remain tight and in good condition.
Do not climb or stand on the building at anytime.
•
Inspect the anchoring system to verify that all
•
components remain tight and in good condition.
Verify that the side panel components are in good
•
working condition.
Do not allow drop-down panel (if installed) to remain
•
in the down position for extended periods. Raise the
panel to allow it to dry and for cleaning.
Replace panel cords (if installed) immediately if worn
•
or broken.
Remove debris and objects that can accumulate on
•
the building. Use tools that will not damage the cover
when removing debris.
Remove snow to prevent excess accumulation. Use
•
tools that will not damage the cover when removing
snow.
Check the contents of the shelter to verify that nothing
•
is touching the cover that could cause damage.
If the shelter is dismantled and moved, inspect all
•
parts and connections before using.
Depending on the contents, construction of the
•
shelter, shelter materials, and shelter location, the
potential for condensation exists. ClearSpan™
offers several items that can be used to alleviate
a condensation condition. Please contact a
ClearSpan™ representative for additional information.
