Tool Components Tightening Techniques
for
40 Series Right Angle Nutrunners
104, 204 & 304 Gear Trains
1.
Clamp angle head with bushing in vise. Tighten all other components before posi-
tioning and tightening housing lock nut on angle head.
2.
Tighten 1st reduction gear case to second reduction gear case to 40ft. lbs. (54Nm).
3.
Tighten backhead to first reduction gear case securely while holding first reduction
gear case with another wrench.
4.
The "P" angle head has a spline for positioning the head to the throttle lever. Once
alignment is achieved, the housing lock nut should be torqued to 20 ft. lbs (27Nm).
