4.1.3 Maintenance and repair
(1)
Before carrying out maintenance and repair work on the lifted device or unit, always secure it mechanically
with suitable support elements! Switch off the engine and remove the ignition key!
(2)
Check nuts and screws regularly for tightness and retighten if necessary. First check after approx. 5
operating hours, then after each use.
(3)
Spare parts must meet the technical requirements specified by the device manufacturer! This is only given
by original spare parts!
(4)
Use only the specified resources. Dispose of replaced resources properly!
(5)
Splashing oil can cause injury and pollution of the environment. Wear safety goggles and protective clothing
and use appropriate collection containers!
4.1.4 Information on noise
The noise level at the operator's ear may be 85 dB(A) or more. Hearing protection must be worn when the
daily
noise exposure level exceeds 85 dB(A) at the driver’s seat.
4.2 Hydraulic system, lubricant
Attention:
The hoses for the hydraulic cylinders must be replaced at least every five years.
Note:
If the machine/mounted implement is operated via the tractor's hydraulics, check before
commissioning whether the oil from the machine in the hydraulic circuit may enter the tractor's
hydraulic circuit.
An inadmissible mixing of different oils can lead to damage to the tractor! If the oils are
different, replace the oil of the implement with the hydraulic oil of the tractor!
Before introducing biological oils into the machine's system, check with CLEMENS Customer
Service whether the desired oil can be used.
Attention:
There are crushing and shearing points on externally actuated parts (e.g. hydraulic)!
Splashing oil can cause injuries and environmental pollution!
Attention:
Immediately take up leaked hydraulic oil with oil binding agent and place it in the waste
container provided for this purpose; ventilate the room well.
Caution: danger of slipping on greasy ground.
