Audio “DJ” CD Player
The built-in standalone audio CD player gives you direct hardware control for
audio CDs when the computer is
shut down
, but has a working power source.
1.
Make sure that the computer is shut down (i.e. the operating system is not
running) but you have a working power source (either running from the bat-
tery or AC Power).
2.
Toggle the ON/OFF (
in
Figure 3 - 18
) switch by moving it to the right and
then releasing it
.
3.
Press the open button on your CD device, or press the Stop/Eject button
(
in
Figure 3 - 18
), and carefully place an audio CD disc onto the disc tray
with label-side facing up (DVD drives will also play audio CD’s).
4.
Gently push the CD/DVD tray in until its lock “clicks” and you are ready to
start.
5.
The Busy Indicator will light up while data is being accessed (or while a CD
is playing).
6.
The LCD will display a
for the first CD track.
7.
Click the play/pause button to start the CD.
8.
You can control the CD tracking and audio volume from the control panel.
9.
The player can be turned off by toggling the ON/OFF switch again.
