Note that when a single
USB device is plugged in to
a USB 3.1 (Gen 2) port the
data transfer speed will be
10Gbps, however when two
devices are plugged in to
both USB 3.1 (Gen 2) ports,
this bandwidth will be
shared between the ports.

Powered USB 3.0 Port
Note that the USB 3.0 port is not operational under DOS and does not support wake on
USB. The
powered USB 3.0
(
in
) port can supply power
(
for charging devices only, not for operating devices
) when the system is off but still
powered by the AC/DC adapter plugged into a working outlet, or powered by the battery
with a capacity level above 20% (this may not work with certain devices - see page
).
Toggle power to this port by using
Fn + power button
.
HDMI Port / Mini Display Port 1.3
Note that the HDMI Port and Mini Display ports support video and audio signals to attached
external displays (see
“HDMI Audio Configuration” on page C - 9
Note that
Sound Blaster X-Fi MB5
audio will be disabled when you are connecting to an
external display through an HDMI or Mini Display port connection.
