Adapter Notes
This computer is designed to be powered by the 2 AC/DC adapters supplied. When
the computer is powered by the dual adapters the the system will be in its highest
performance mode.
If the system is being powered by a single adapter
, note the following:
1. When the battery level is less than 10%, the system will not start if powered by one
Adapter only.
2. If a battery is not installed, the system will not start.
3. The Battery LED will not light up when the system is off or when it starts.
4. The overall system performance will be equivalent to the system in DC (battery
powered) mode.
5. Although powered by a single adapter the battery will not charge.
6. As the adapter is powered separately, the battery will not be charged, and the oper-
ating system will show the capacity unchanged.
7. When the battery is low, and the low battery beep sound is being played, the sys-
tem will continue to do so and will not enter a power-saving state.

electrical outlet is unavailable. Battery life varies depending on the applications and
the configuration you're using.
To increase battery life, let the battery discharge
completely before recharging
(see

We recommend that you do not remove the battery. For more information on the bat-
