The appliance is used as a electronical musical instrument. It is intended for use
indoors and in private households only.

• To avoid short circuiting, electric shocks or malfunction of the appliance never
take it apart. Do not expose the appliance to high temperatures and damp (e.g.
direct sunlight, heating, damp rooms etc.) and do not use it with damp hands.
Extreme vibration as well as dust and dirt can damage the instrument.
• To avoid mechanical damage never use unnecessary force on the control ele-
ments. Do not drop the appliance.
• Switch off the tuner immediately after tuning. Never put the appliance near

the appliance using a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the fixing screw

2. When inserting the batteries ensure that they are connected to the correct pole
(+/–).
3. Close the lid again and fasten the screw.
ImPorTAnT:
• The battery life depends on how the appliance is used and the quality of the
batteries. Please replace them if the display is dim, or if the appliance does not
work and is not activated by switching it on and off.
• Batteries: when replacing the batteries use the same type: 4 x 1.5V AA (LR6). If
the appliance is not used for a long time or the batteries are empty, please re-
move them from the appliance to avoid damage from battery leakage.

THE SuSTAIn EffECT
Press the button SUSTAIN
to let the sound last longer. Pressing again switches
the effect off.
THE VIBrATo EffECT
Press the button VIBRATO
, to add a oscillating, violin-like effect to your tone.
Pressing again switches the effect off.
rECordIng And PlAYBACK
1. To prepare for recording, push the multifunction button

up to RECORD. The
recording starts with the first pressed key on the keyboard. You can record up to
92 notes.
2. To play back your recorded notes, press the multifunction button

to the
right to PLAY.
TrAnSPoSIng
Using this function you can modify the basic pitch of your keyboard. This is use-
ful, whenever you play together with others or play along to music in a different
tonylity. You can shift the pitch both upwards and downwards for six half tones.

lEArnIng modE
First choose one of the demo songs (see SELECTING A DEMO SONG). Now press
